United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Montreal to Sydney and Melbourne, Australia down to between $980 and $995 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
In the last few years, there have been better deals than this to Australia, particularly with Qantas. But this is the best deal there has been from Montreal to Australia since early 2019.
