Montreal to Ecuador - $571 roundtrip after taxes

There are some very cheap flights to Guayaquil, Ecuador (GYE) at the moment. They're available throughout March, April, May, and June of 2012. It's definitely rare to see flights to South America this cheap.
Here's how to find them...
1. Go to http://www.hotwire.com
2. Search for a flight from Montreal (YUL) to Guayaquil (GYE), departing and returning sometime in March, April, May or June of 2012.
3. Look for the cheap ones with good connections.
The fastest ones I've found so far involve a 4 to 4.5 hour layover each way in New York or Miami.

Update @ 5:23 PM : Delta seems to have caught on and the price is now back up unfortunately. There were reports that the reverse was working for a while as well (out of a Canadian city, back into a U.S. city). Could still be worth trying.
